Vanessa graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts from Macquarie University and has been practising Law for over 22 years.

Vanessa comes to our firm in the role of Special Counsel, having worked for other top-tier family law firms in Sydney.

Vanessa is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and also a Collaborative Lawyer. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and was formerly chair of the Young Lawyers Family Law Committee of the Law Society of NSW.

Vanessa has solely worked in family law since 2005 and has provided advice to clients in relation to all aspects of family law including new relationships, spousal maintenance, property settlement, and complex parenting matters, including those involving relocation and family violence.

Vanessa provides objective advice and guidance to clients and seeks to engage in alternative dispute resolution processes to try and achieve resolution to family law disputes, in a client centered approach to relationship breakdown. However, where necessary, she has appeared in both divisions of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia representing clients in litigious matters.

Vanessa is well known and respected in the industry having built a solid reputation during her career. As an experienced practitioner, Vanessa aims to work with her colleagues and peers to progress and work through matters in a pragmatic, effective and positive manner; and encourages clients to consider the range of options available to resolve their disputes.
