Child Support Agreements
There are two types of child support agreements, being limited child support agreements and binding child support agreements. Depending on your circumstances and the agreement you reach with your former partner, you may agree to enter into one of these Agreements to meet your children’s costs.
Child support agreements may include an amount to be paid as a periodic payment, that is a regular payment from one parent to the other in a set amount.
They can also include non-periodic payments, which relate to irregular expenses such as school fees and associated costs, medical expenses, private health insurance and extra-curricular activities.
